This has been a very buys few weeks!
First, Brandon and I just traded in our cars for different ones. Brandon got a red GMC truck. It's is everything he has wanted. It's lifted off the ground super high and has a ton of chrome. Just up his alley. My car is a Chevy Equinox. It gives me a ton more space for when the little one comes. :) Also, it will be a great car for the winter too because, it is All Wheel Drive! The biggest thing I LOVE is it has A/C!!!! :) :)
Next, finally got the baby bedding in, washed, and put on the crib. It looks great!
I also, have my next appointment this Tuesday. It is my Glucose test. Which I am not looking forward to. :( But, owell, there is not much I can do, except get over it. :)
That's all for now....

22 weeks :)
Okay, so I'm a bit late on this blog. Sorry.
I am currently 22 and a half weeks along. We had our 21 week ultrasound appointment last week on Monday. It was very interesting to watch. Half the time we had no idea what we were looking at. The ultrasound tech was very good about trying to explain everything. We were in there for a little more then an hour. The baby is so low that he had a hard time getting a clear picture of the baby's brain because, the baby was not only low but upside down too. The baby is a week ahead in it's development too. So, even though I was 21 weeks when we had the ultrasound the baby was already passed 22. We did learn that everything is developing correctly and got some neat pictures. Which I have already posted on my FB page.
I am feeling very good so far. We did have a scare with my vision this week. I woke up and couldn't see straight. So, I called the doctor right away. They got me in to see our eye doctor and she sent me to a specialist in Sioux Falls. Turns out I have an eye hemorrhage in my left retina. I have to go back in July to make sure it has cleared up. Still don't really know what happened to cause it. Who knows. I feel like I am eating everything in sight. All of my food aversions are gone and I can now eat everything. :)
New development with the baby bump. I can not only feel the baby kicking non-stop but, now I can see my stomach move. It's SOOOOOOOO weird but, cool at the same time. Brandon is getting very excited about being able to see it happen too.

20 Weeks :)
Hello all!
I am officially 20 weeks along. I have been feeling wonderful except when I lay down. I am starting to get really flemmy. :( So, it makes it hard to sleep. Otherwise, this has been an awesome experience so far.
We are feeling the baby move sooooo much. Which is very cool! Brandon is loving every minute of it. Every night he puts his hand on my belly to feel the baby. My next doctors appointment is June 6th. It is our first ultrasound since 6 weeks. Needless to say we are both very excited about it. We still are not going to find out the sex.
The baby is the size of a coconut this week. Holy cow!!!!
Until later...

16 week update
We had our 16 week doctors appointment on Monday. We have decided to switch doctors up to Vermillion hospital. We really liked our doctor. She seems really nice and up beat. We got to hear the heart beat again. This time it was 140 :)
We also have so BIG news today. Today is the first time I felt the baby move. I had Brandon check because I wasn't sure if that is exactly what was happening. It was SOOOOO cool! :) It was weak still, but the fact that we felt it move was very exciting!
That is all for now. :)

14 Weeks :)
This past Saturday I finally began my 14th week!
-there is the picture I promised.
I am very excited to have passed this wonderful milestone. We had a great weekend on top of this awesome news. Brandon's parents Jim and Lori came for a visit. We got to hang out and show off our super painting feats. Then we relaxed a bit and went to get a light snack .
Later that evening we went to Sioux City. Lori and I went ahead of the men. It was a great bonding time for us. We don't get one on one time very often. We did a bit of shopping and then met the boys for supper. We went to eat at Texas Road House. It was about an hour wait but, the food was great. Jim and Lori took us out to eat for my upcoming birthday. It was a great time spent with them.
Easter is this next weekend so we will be seeing everyone! We are very excited to go back home and hang out with our family. We miss you all.
Until next time....

Baby update...
So, we just had an doctors appointment today. We got to hear the baby's heart beat. :) It was 158 beats per minute. It was so wonderful to get to hear that! I haven't been really feeling to pregnant so to hear it for real was so amazing! :)
I got yelled at because I have lost one pound since the last time I was there. I attribute it to not wanting to eat anything. Nothing sounded good. It was awful! I think it is finally starting to go away. All I can say is I will be happy to finally eat what I want again. :)
The baby is the size of a lime if anyone is wondering. :P
I am 12 weeks right now and I am just starting to barely show. I will post a picture at the start of my second trimester.
All else is well, so until later...

Baby Baughman # 1
Okay, we have finally went public with our wonderful news. We are expecting!!!!! Our due date is October 15th. We are still in a bit of a shock with the news.
We went back and told our families two weeks ago. With my mom and dad, we wrapped up a picture of our ultrasound. With Brandons family I made a shirt for Carson. I'm sure Paula will post it as soon as she sees we went public. :) It was super fun telling both sides.
The reason I say the baby is a shock was because we were told it would be very difficult to get pregnant. I was having medical problems that were stopping it. I guess that didn't really stop it. God said YES! :)
So, needless to say we are both very excited. I am almost 10 weeks. I will keep all who read updated for sure.
LOVE YOU ALL!
